Part 2: From Vision to Reality (The Cadet Package)

Part 2: From Vision to Reality (The Cadet Package)

Evolving the Vision

The Cadet Package was my way of further supporting that goal of helping parents and children reclaim quality time with one another without technology, while encouraging self-expression and creativity. About a year after launching the first edition of the Cadet Package, I began working initial idea I had for the package to coincide with the launch of my second book The Fear Theory: The Stone.

The Upgrade: Changes and Improvements

Expanding on my original offerings, my goal was to create a premium product, one that delivered a unique experience form the moment it was received.

This time, I upgraded to blank boxes, turning each one into a canvas. Every package featured a hand-drawn illustrations inside and out, making the packages engaging and interactive from the very first glance.

Each package became a canvas, featuring hand-drawn illustrations inside and out.

Time consuming process, but well worth it.

What’s Inside?

I wanted the experience of receiving the Cadet Package to feel like opening a birthday gift or Christmas present. I stuck with what worked before, the handwritten thank-you card, which was a big hit. Simple yet effective, it created a lasting impression, while I also making upgrades some of the products. Here’s a look at what’s inside:

The Fear Theory

The first book lays the foundation, and highlights how my journey began. My reason for including it is to encourage readers to embrace imperfection, pick up a pencil and experience the growth that comes with practice.

The Fear Theory: The Stone

With the inclusion of the latest book in the series, I readers to see the growth as an illustrator. Highlighting the importance of investing time into a craft. Although it was created digitally, like the first book, everything was hand-drawn from start to finish.

Premium Sketchbook & Journal

Sketchbooks also include a small art activity to get readers started.

Journal with 30 writing prompts designed to encourage daily check-ins, support self-discovery, and help readers disconnect from technology. (5 minutes a day can go a long way.)

Postcards

Postcards meant to create opportunities to build meaningful connections, both new and old. All while offering a chance to experience the value of slowing down.

Enamel Pins

6 pin available from The Fear Theory universe.

Access to Additional Content

Included with the information card, each package includes a 4-digit passcode. Giving readers exclusive access to behind-the-scenes content, future missions (activities), and additional content.

Hard to believe it all began with a sketchbook, a pencil, and a little boredom.
